read at your own risk

If there’s one thing in life that I wish I could change is my love for LV bags. I cannot afford it yet I love it. With the kind of pay that I’m getting, I will never be able to buy it myself. I depend entirely on charity. Please contribute to my LV Fund, yes, thank you. I’ve always been fascinated with LV. Occasionally, I’d find nice bags from other labels but LV has always been numero uno. It all started with a monogram Horizontal Lock It – which was a bestseller due to its size and practicality. I got it as a birthday present (I think). Well, I can’t remember because I got all my bags because of something. It must be either for my birthday or for my results. Before that, my mom has always been a fan of LV too and for a long time all I did was drool at her gorgeous bags. And then after owning one, the rest is as they say history. I know the biggest problem that LV has to face is the counterfeited monogram bags. I’ve had people telling me that I saw a bag exactly like yours at Petaling St./Bandung. I don’t know about other LV lovers but I personally couldn’t be bothered with the amount of imitation LVs being toted around - although I would love to see it gone. Fyi, it will never be ‘exactly’ like the real deal. And I’m not going to be all poyo and talk about how the ‘feel’ is different but most importantly it is not physically the same. Maybe the ones I saw were not the Grade A type but almost all the counterfeited bags differ from the original. For example, the handle would be too long or too short or too funny-looking, the size would be weird and better still the design is not even available in the store. Betul-betul ‘limited edition’ ni. I’m not going to say much because it’s all a matter of choice. But anyway, my obsession is pretty much under control. I don’t go crazy over a ridiculously priced keychain, coin purse or sandals. I love the ones that are practical, oversized and value for money. Actually, the watercolour Speedy sparked off this entry. Sadly, it is out of stock but they’re bringing in the same watercolour design but in dark brown. It’s quite pricy as compared to the normal Speedy. But I’m going to persuade my mom to ‘share’ it with me, so I’m going to offer to pay half…using the money that I received last night from Messrs. Shook Lin & Bok. Haha. :)

ps: Save your judgments for some other time.
