saturday

The other day the girls decided to meet up. Even though everyone was busy, but we all tried to find time to squeeze in a few hours to hang out with each other before the fasting month. We decided to have lunch at Ole-Ole Bali (or it was more like, the pregnant lady was given the honour to choose the place). By the way, Meq is pregnant, in case you haven't heard. The baby's about 15 weeks old now and is due in February! Imagine, February! That's my month. And if the baby is born on the 8th, that would just be the icing on the cake. Hehe. So anyway, Ole-Ole Bali is one of my favourite restaurants. When I'm really hungry, I'd order its huge portion of rice and chicken served in a 'tray'. Otherwise, I'd be happy with any of its other meals including the Western ones. The fries are just so yummy! But my favourite item from the menu is Es Campur - which is a different version of our Ice Kacang. It is a thousand times better. It is made out of flavoured shaved ice (which tastes like ice-cream!) with bananas and a lot of other tiny balls and things...forgive me, I don't know what it is called. I didn't have it the other day though, because Meq ordered this jug of Barley juice, which was really nice as well.

I hope you won't have a hard time figuring out who's the pregnant one here. Yes, I was wearing a maxi dress that is all the craze right now. The only way you can enjoy fashion is by not caring what others think of you but the most important thing is how it makes you feel. If you feel pretty and comfortable, then you're all set to go. But if you start to fidget or feel uncomfortable, then don't wear it. The least of your worry would be what others think of you. So anyway Meq had to go for a function after lunch, hence the baju kurung.

And can you believe that the lady on the left gave birth to a baby girl just 4 months ago? Kak Tini looked smashing in her mini dress because it elongates her legs, making her look like a mini Kimora Lee Simmons. Hehe. Yes, that is indeed Kak Anis on my left with a new image. She is on a trial mode and God willing, she will be wearing it permanently soon. I am personally proud of her. This goes to show that you can never judge a book by its cover. You cannot assume that just because a person is not as decently dressed as you are, that person is not able to become a better person than you. Slowly but surely lah kan? So anyway, that's all for now. :)
