Ok, that was just a selingan. My weekend was fantastic or you could call it, awesomeeee. (re: moouis). What I did was, I had time for everybody! Squeezed in a little hour or two here and there and voila, everyone's satisfied. Or so, I hope. I went to a family friend's engagement on Saturday and I loveeee her minimalist, very English, very chic mini pelamin AND her hantaran for the guy. I have the pictures so I will upload it later - provided that you all don't go tiru ok because I want to copy first. Hehe. I'm so glad I went because I love to see beautiful things and beautiful people, love to see her all made up and all that. Oh..and ok, because of the food too. Cupcakes ummm! After all, what good is a wedding/engagement without cupcakes/cakes? And I'm the biggest hantu cake ever. Serioussssssssss.
So after the engagement, I rushed to Capsquare to show some love and support to my soulsister. And also because I promised the girls I'd be there. Did a little shopping, rubbed Meq's tummy, took pictures (of course), laughed another hundred times and then off to Pavilion for dinner with si dia. Hmm, interesting.
Sunday was as per usual, family time! Accompanied my mom here and there and the day ended with a yummy, fattening dinner at Sunway. And this contented girl slept soundly throughout the night until the alarm woke her up this morning to bring her back to reality!!
But then, this morning I had a pleasant surprise. My dear boss approved my leave application! So now I can't wait for that little mini holiday at the end of the year and also my Convocation (even though I know quite a number of people tak pergi but I'm still going because I love being the first in line, if you know what I mean...hehe). And tomorrow I'm going to the Parliament so I can wake up late because the thing starts at 10. :) Ok, so far so good. A good way to start the day kan?
