here comes the bride

I can’t believe out of all the days I had this week, I end up writing on this very day. I guess I’m just so used to the whole ‘an-entry-on-the-8th’ concept. And I like the fact that people don’t expect me to post an entry ‘live’ from the day of the event itself and yet that is exactly what I’m doing now. Surprise!!! ;p Hehe. Obviously I’m up very early today. The first feeling I had when I opened my eyes this morning was...love. As corny as this might sound, (ok it IS corny), I am more in love today, than I have ever been in my entire life. Actually, I knew that the momentum was picking up throughout the previous month. And then it became stronger last week. This week was just incredible. When it’s your turn, you will know what I mean. I pray that every single person in this world is blessed with love and this warm fuzzy feeling in your heart. It’s an experience not to be missed.


Oh, before that, my apologies for not being able to invite everyone to my wedding reception. We’ve tried dividing the guests and splitting the crowd between my reception and his because we can’t afford to invite everyone to both! I am truly sorry if I have missed out on any names...ohh I’m sure I have! I can be rather forgetful sometimes. My sincere apologies to those I’ve missed out on (friends, if any)... I must kick myself silly for forgetting some names.

So this is it. This is how ‘a wedding day’ feels like. And it’s a magical feeling. God is Great.


God willing, this day, I will marry my friend of 5 years – the one I laugh with, live for, dream with and love. I pray that a love like ours would last forever and that we would be able to overcome any stormy days with much perseverance and patience. I pray that even in the darkest of days, we would be able to make it through. Please pray for us too. I would truly appreciate it.


I’m going to have a lot of ‘write-ups’ to do after the wedding so watch out for that one (if you’re interested, or else please come and visit me again some time in February..hehe). Take care everyone. Much love!
