This was in 2007. Kak Tinie just got married to Cat and was expecting her first child. Meq was just about to get engaged. Kak Anis was not seriously involved with Nazrin yet. As for me…well, I can’t share it here but I remember this period. It was tough. But I pulled through. No wait, we pulled through. :)This was last year – 2008. It was one of the best buka puasa session ever because we managed to persuade all our studs to join us, even though they ended up being so quiet as we laughed too much. They aren’t half as funny as we are. ;p Changes? Kak Tinie became a mother of one cute daughter, Meq got married to Ajee and was pregnant with lil Farel, Kak Anis started wearing tudung, Ayu was in a relationship with Acip, I was without any title but ever so happily in a relationship with Kiki. Hehe.

And this year! Kak Tinie now wears the hijab/tudung, Meq is a yummy mummy, Kak Anis is married, Ayu broke off with her boyfriend (kids, sheesh! ;p) and I am engaged to be married! ps; I am still waiting for a proper group photo. For now, just us two. ;p
I wonder what would the changes be for next year? It’s interesting and amazing to observe these changes and to know that we’ve been through every step together makes it even sweeter!
How do you make a friendship last? Treat your friends like family. Love ‘em, hate ‘em like family. Need ‘em like you need your family. And then everything else will follow suit. Our little family is definitely growing! Can’t wait to share the many special days ahead with each and every one of you.
Oh by the way, we can definitely go to Pizza Uno again. Enjoyed the baked pasta tremendously! Darling fiancé, I will bring you there soon okays. Good pasta, good company, perfect night out.
I am feeling rather sentimental now that there is only four days left of Ramadhan (including today!). Terlalu cepat. Terawih pun I missed a few days. There is more to Ramadhan than just fasting. For me, it means so much more. Tak payah la nak emotional here kan, nanti people will say ‘enough already!’. Just allow me to be sentimental. And let’s all pray that we are able to welcome Ramadhan again next year. It’s not over yet and already I’m missing it. Haha.
There's a majlis berbuka puasa today at our house. Good foooood. Bye.
