one at a time please

I'm going to have fun this weekend and reward myself with lots of nice (cheap) things, because yeah, getting promoted as a 'permanent' officer means that our salary scale will be back to basic. Or so I think. Hence, I'm going to splurge on eyeshadow palettes, hairclips, cotton wool and the likes of it. Ok tipu la. I AM going to the pharmacy (why am I telling you this?) because I loveeee going to pharmacies but that's not why I'm going to enjoy this weekend. Not that I haven't enjoyed any of the other weekends. Whatever, it's the weekend! There's no need for a specific reason to enjoy it.


I came home today only to find a 'Wifey's Playlist' CD on my dressing table. My husband so thoughtfully put together a compilation of my favourite songs into a CD because like I've told you before, my 'music' collection is ancient. I like a lot of the current songs but I just couldn't be bothered to download or buy CDs. So he did it for me instead. Just so you know, I am a huge fan of little gestures. The smallest, most ordinary of gestures warms my heart. I'm not an 'expensive-surprises' kind of girl. And that's why I guess I'm the happiest. In my universe, that is. :) What's it like over there?


I'm watching reruns of Glee. What a great way to start the weekend! Perhaps I'll just share my 'loot' with you next week. Be good everyone.


ps; The title is an inside joke re:English class (yes we have to attend an English class conducted by the British Council every Friday and it's SO MUCH FUN!)
