top five moments

So many things happened in a short span of 5 days but I’ve narrowed it down to the top five ‘moments’.

1. I was transferred to another Division, a Division that if you recall in a previous entry, I have been in for a few hours last year.

2. We attended our office dinner on Friday and involuntarily made a total fool of ourselves on stage. I don’t know which one would have been more tragic – me making a scene at my seat by refusing to stand up and oblige to the request when the spotlight is right smack on my face or me making an attempt to ‘entertain’ people on stage. I mean, who in the world knows how to dance to dangdut anyway?? But we (and perhaps everyone else in the room) had a terribly long good laugh after that.

It was a masquerade-themed dinner by the way, hence the hand mask. I don't know why my clutch is so high up like that...

3. Finally, I have found a tailor for my baju raya. You don’t know how relieved I am! But since it’s my first time with the designer, I am not going to rave about him until I see the end product. The sketches were divine, though.

4. I turned into a millionaire over the weekend!!! The short holiday is this upcoming weekend and I can’t wait. And yes, I’m a millionaire in rupiah.

5. Well whaddaya know, I am back in my former Division. Don’t ask. I don’t know what is it with me and transfer orders but let’s just say I haven’t been very lucky. I’m more ‘angry’ than ‘amused’ now.

Just to show you that I can never get this pose right. I will always end up smiling at myself! Somebody teach me!
