because I'm a bambino

I told you. My weekends are so fully booked, I don’t even have time to sleep in! I’ll be busy all the way ‘til June. My next available weekend slot is in July. Wow. And I’m not even doing what I usually do (re:exaggerating). Hehe. It’s true ok! Anyway, okay weekend recap ye? Saturday was super fun and tiring at the same time. Meq accompanied me earlier in the morning for an errand and after that, we went straight to Bangsar for a ‘romantic’ brunch. It was very Delicious and I’m glad she enjoyed what I recommended. Honestly, we were full to the brim and gathered enough energy to walk and ‘hike’ the staircases. Or so we thought! Rupanya we have zero stamina. But we’re lucky that when we decided we were too tired to go on, it started raining so it was just perfect timing to call it a day. Or else we’d probably just stop for a short drink before continuing our hike. Meq was looking for something to wear on her birthday and I was just…looking. We ended up with 4 items each. Most of the shops were having sale, up to 70%! It would be totally wrong, an offence even, to not take advantage of the sale. All the clothes I bought were at least 50% off except for one. So I think I did pretty well. The rain saved our pockets and we headed back home completely satisfied! Kan Meq? To top off the wonderful day, I visited lil Farel who was left at home with his daddy when his mummy decided to go on a shopping spree with Tiya. I will post the pictures later so that you can see how much Farel have grown. And Farel has a cat-like kinda manja that is just so adorable. Serious! He makes the cutest sounds when he’s mengada and he wants attention.

On Sunday, my mom and I had a birthday lunch appointment in Pavilion. We wanted to celebrate a friend’s birthday. So, what else, while waiting for the person to arrive, we did what any sane lady would do. Window-shopping! But there were two exceptions to the window-shopping rule. And that’s only because I’ve been searching for the two items since forever (my ‘forever’ here is very subjective. One or two weeks can be considered ‘forever’ in my dictionary of life). It was a compulsory buy. Not compulsive. After that we had a huge lunch and it was enough to keep me full throughout the day (and night).

The best part of every weekend would be Dani-time! I’ll definitely slot in a few hours to chill with Dani (chill konon). I love love love cuddling him. The best time would be when he has just finished a bottle of milk. He will put on his contented lil face and just sit happily in my arms with eyes wide open. There would be no reason for him to cry because he’s full and he’s dry. He doesn’t know what to do because he’s probably so used to crying. Hehe. Kelakar. And then slowly he’d close his eyes and doze off to sleepy land. But of course, babies being babies, once you put him in his basket, he’d open his eyes. I don’t have time to take more pictures with Dani because every time I’m with him I’d be so occupied nak (sibuk) buat this and that.

And now, only 9 days to go before my other baby comes back home. Haha. That big baby requires even more attention and care. That one more mengada than all the babies put together. Lol.
