skim cepat gelap (and kaya)

Wheeee...I'm a happy bee, even though I'm not as pretty as Queen B. Reason reason reason? I don't need a reason to be happy. Sometimes I just am. But okay, for now I do have a few solid reasons to be happy about, on top of being happy just because. Firstly, the "jumble sale" on Saturday was a heat! HIT! Both heat and hit. It was a really hot day. On top of that, thanks to the organizers for allocating me a booth with direct, free sunlight. Memang spot on-spotlight lah that place. No special treatment for anak boss okay...we're very fair. All men are equal. At first it was just the morning heat and I was okay with that. And then it was the afternoon heat. I started sweating profusely, my hair was all over the place, plus I was wearing a black t-shirt! Don't ask me why, kehendak penganjur. Memang confirm lah SIZZLING. The whole thing was supposed to end at 5pm. But at 3.30 pm I was already packing my bags. Haha. I had one more box of clothes left so I dropped by Ractar on my way back and gave the box to them. If I had waited for just one more hour I would have (most probably) been able to sell off all the clothes. Nevertheless, it was all worth it. In my opinion it was a hit. Haha. Regardless who bought the clothes - mostly aunties and uncles (for their wives and daughters). I didn't expect people to buy sangat pun so it was a very pleasant surprise when at the end of the day...I managed to collect a total mencecah angka empat digit! (mysterious sikit) Hehe. I don't know if that's a lot for you or not, but for me, it's too good to be true! Tiba tiba rasa nak jual all my clothes and keep only a few basic items. *sigh* Super happy! I guess this is how it feels to be a businessman/peniaga/penjual nasi lemak...the feeling must be super great when your business is successful, your items are sold and your nasi lemak licin by 9 a.m. :))) Plus I love being a vendor, complete with my calculator and annoying tips. Since all the clothes were my own, I was able to share with them where I bought the items, how many times I've worn it, the original price and even mixed and matched some of the items available on that day. Even though I'm the least likely candidate to be a "fashion" icon/guru/cikgu. I've always secretly wanted to be a sales assistant je. Ok, that one is another story. Remind me to write about that silly thing.

Secondly, my boyfriend is coming back soon! And we're doing some fun, once in a lifetime kinda thing this weekend so I'm all excited and geared up for that. Next week will be blissful. Actually, I've never been the sad sappy kinda girlfriend even though he's not here with me. I've been generally happy. So his return would be a bonus! A well-deserved bonus. Yeay!
