I'm not sorry for my absence. Ceh, 'absence' sangat. I'm sorry for not talking to myself for a few days. Last week...my, what a week! So many things happened - we went for our compulsory kursus, Nia turned 1, Labour Day celebration at Bukit Jalil, Jaja got engaged (!!!), out out out and about another 10 times and so much more. I'm exhausted, running from one place to another.
It was Nia's birthday party on 26 April. We finished class quite late that day so we had to rush just to be there on time. Nia was already moody and sleepy by the time we wanted to cut the birthday cake. But she tried as hard as she could to stay awake and play with all her new toys! Farel was also there, and as usual, I couldn't keep him out of my touch and sight. I mean, I don't get to see him every single day so of course whenever I see these kids I'd want to hold them. Haha. Kiki is equally as in love with the kids as I am. Good.
On Saturday I had to go for the Labour Day celebration at Bukit Jalil. It was surprisingly quite fun but for the fact that I had to wake up tersangat early on a Saturday! That part was very, very hurtful but otherwise, the celebration was well-planned, on time, short and simple. They even had an entertaining 'dance musical' performance. Not bad. I was expecting to be bored to death. And our department's uniform wasn't that ugly after all the fuss and we got to keep the shirt.
Right after the whole celebration ended I had to rush to Jaja's place for her engagement! She's engaged!!! She looked so pretty that day. Very simple and chic. And of course she was glowing, tu belum jadi bride lagi dah so pretty! I'm so happy for her and Athong. They deserve each other, they're just perfect together. I remember the early stages of their relationship, I remember his first phone call, their first date, the phases that they went through, the ups and downs, the funny moments... I've been there all along, I've witnessed how their relationship blossomed into something so solid and steady like a rock. I share her joy and I wish them only the best that life could offer. :) Now, nothing can come between you two, he's yours! Ok, almost yours for now. You don't have to worry about a thing! :) As for the pictures, it will be in FB. I didn't take that many pictures because it was scorching hot!!! We had to camp in the 'bilik pengantin' to cool ourselves, much to the annoyance of the engaged princess (I'm sure). Ohh, I found out that we will be sharing the same 'something-something'. Instead of being childish about it, like some people, I am actually quite excited and happy that we will have the same thing to remember. It just shows how much alike we are. Great minds think alike kan? Not only do we (almost) share the same birthday, we've got this one as a great reminder of our friendship too. Haha, tiba tiba nak turn people's wedding as a friendship thing pulak, macam la she was thinking of me when she made her decision. Haha. Whatever kemever. It was a pleasant coincidence. Now I'll never forget your wedding! :) Can't wait for next year for SOOO many reasons. Congratulations dear Jaja. *sniff sniff*
Ok dah. Yesterday was our goodbye day, after about 9 days of TLC. It's okay, it's alright, see you soon darling just sleep tight. (Obviously I'm trying to rhyme) I love you and the chocolate drink we had. Teringat ingat. :) Thank you for all the fun we had. We'll do it again soon. HUGS! :)
