I'm so happy now that it's official! The little something that we've hoped for...will insya Allah finally come true at the end of this year. It means the world to me. Call me a baby or whatevs, I can't do this alone anymore. Thank you, kind people, for your kind consideration.
(totally random) By the way, just to set the record straight, yes my fiance bought a new car months ago with the help of his dad. And in no way was my parents involved in the purchase. Funny because some people thought it was a gift from my parents for the engagement. HAHHAHA... If he chose to be with anak Menteri or anak Raja maybe he can get it for free lah but with me? I don't think so! Ever! My parents are still sane.
(more random things) I read Neesa's blog entry about what the waitress at Sushi King Alamanda told her. Neesa was told that most of the food items served at the restaurant is not halal. Right after I read her post, Kak Tinie told me a similar story. She went to Sushi King yesterday for lunch with Kak Fiena and this time, the manager himself informed her about the same fact. However, she told me that the manager was super duper freaking rude to her and Kak Fiena! He did not smile even once, and the way he put it was like as though he was telling them off. I yang dengar cerita pun membara. He was just very very rude. My theory is that, since the workers just found out about the fact that the products they have been serving is not halal, they (or maybe just the Manager) have tendered their resignation letter and now waiting for their last few days of work to end. Therefore, the Manager did not mind if he was being rude or emo or a gangster to the customers because he's leaving the company anyway! So, complain all you want to the top boss, he's not afraid. That's my theory lah because if not, why else would he want to be so so so so rude to them? Ni rude yang tahap tak masuk akal, macam nak marah kita je, padahal we are the customers and we are paying for the expensive food! It's so difficult to write what he said here because maksud tak sampai, you gotta see the lakonan semula by Kak Tinie. At one point, lepas the girls kena 'sound' by the Manager for wanting to eat there (hello, weird kan??!), he came up to them and said "Wasabe dah habis ambik?" to which Kak Tinie replied "No, I nak ambil lagi" to which he said (with pure kerekness) "Letak balik wasabe (on the conveyor belt)" as though they were his servants and he was instructing them to do something as a superior. Hishh, serious I'm the one who's angry now. I mean, it doesn't matter what problems you have with the management or company but treat others (not just because they are your customers), treat other human beings with respect lah! See, that's why I keep telling you people, I hate disrespectful people and this is just a plain everyday example! Respect others in all aspects lah. If I were there, I swear things would have gotten really ugly. I tau la I'm not strong or whatever to 'fight' with him, but I know I'm the type who can't contain my anger! That is, if I'm really angry. Lupa dunia jap. Once, I confronted this 'manager or anak boss or somebody' at Syed Seksyen 3 because he was rude. I was sitting with Zaki in the air-conditioned part of the restaurant (they used to have it) and slowly other patrons who were in the same room finished up their food and started leaving. And lastly tinggal just me and him. I still had a glass full of teh ais ok. And then this dude came in and simply switched off the lights, fan and air-cond in the room! He obviously saw us there as the switch box was just next to our table. I was so angry I got up from my seat and went to the counter (where he was seated) and gave him a piece of my mind. I can't stand rude people and rude service.
But anyway, I'm feeling on top of the world right now. Hehe. Start conjuring up theories of your own, people, I can't wait to hear your version. :)
