rumah tak pecah

I went to Kak Tinie's open house last weekend. Her house is gorgeoussss. I love it to the max. I appointed her to be my interior consultant on the spot. Minus the salary of course. But she will get my undying friendship in return and that, my friend, is priceless. Hehe. I just love their creativity. Cat is also obviously very creative so they make a great pair. If I were to have a deko bersama Eric moment, I bet I'd be doing it all alone because thatttt guy is just so not interested! But his cafe in Cafe World is quite neatly done. Pandai juga decorate so can you help me decorate our house too? Huh, "our" house? Haha. Decorating an empty house is so much easier than redecorating a house with many existing cabinets, tables, ancient chairs etc. But I'm SO thankful...I don't have to think about a lot of things, it's just that if I want to change, I can but I can also pretty much live there already! For now, I can't afford to decorate my house just like hers so it will take some time to make it complete. Whenever the budget permits, boleh la buy one or two items right. But my problem is this. I'm a very impatient person. If I want something, I want it now. I will bug everyone until I get what I want. :(
I have yet another round of houses to go this weekend and next week, oh next week, my fiance (padahal boleh je cakap nama kan? ;p) will be back!! Yeayyyy. I haven't seen him since raya okayyy lama tak? Oh LDR please end now. But we have a few chores to do when he's back so it's not going to be all that fun. Thank God we've attended our kursus kahwin. Mega boring-ness. We went to Zura’s Akademik – much sought-after academy for the celebs. And don’t worry, you will be reminded of how many celebrities have attended the course by the magazine-cuttings and pictures on the wall. They are very proud of it, I’m sure. Anyway, we attended the two-day course in Bangsar. I must say, it must be a pretty lucrative business as the hall was packed with people! Thank God I booked our places earlier. The venue wasn’t spectacular, the toilet was below average, the food was so-so. Some of the speakers were really funny, the rest biasa saja and ada time boring jugak. But one’s gotta do what one’s gotta do. Since it’s compulsory, just sit through it je lah! I must say I was pretty disappointed because I was expecting to learn something substantial from the course. What is the role of kursus kahwin anyway? I don’t see its significance if the courses are conducted in such a manner. They should emphasize more on the family unit, on how we’re supposed to build a family together, tips to strengthen family ties, how to solve marital issues and etc. It’s not just about consummation of marriage lah please.
Next week come quick!
