rock the house down

A big fat thank you to my sister in-law, Kak Rinie for organizing a 'bachelorette with a twist' for me last night. I said 'with a twist' because instead of having an all-girls party, the boys were there as well. So, it wasn't really a bachelorette in the true sense of the word. We just wanted a reason to have a makan-makan session! ;p We came up with the 'rock' theme because we thought it would be the easiest for the guests to adhere to the theme. I mean, jeans and t-shirt would pass off as a rockstar-look right? Most of them came in black and white. Hehe. A few really stood out from the rest! Juju for example, came all dressed up in a gorgeous studded top, black tights and awesome gladiators! Bats was spotted wearing a black vest and punk make-up. Farissa, oh Farissa wore an out-of-this-world MJ jacket with XXL puffy sleeves. Ohh, the bachelor himself was not to be outdone. He donned a leather jacket, black denim complete with superstar shades. Haha. Even I didn't go that all out for the night. But I'm glad the others did. We had soooooooo much fun. We took laughing sampai pecah perut to the next level. Lol. It was a mixed crowd, Kak Rinie invited people here and there...and to our delight, everyone mingled well. I hope they all had as much fun as I did. There were games, as usual. And also a 'mandatory' karaoke session. I will never forget Din's Rock DJ...hehe or Juju's Spoon. I am blessed with a bunch of lovely people in my life. Thanks everyone! I'm so happy that you guys took the trouble to attend the party. Some with babies and all that...so,thank you! And again thank you to Kak Rinie for all the hard work, the cuteee rock decoration (yes, memang tak ganas langsung!hehe), the pasta and for making the rockers' gathering a reality. Love you lots!

I'm waiting for pictures from the rest because even though my camera was with me, I did not take pictures with it! Yes, I was just too lazy and busy and time seemed to fly with a blink of an eye. Tak sedar, tau-tau people wanted to go back because it was late. Hehe. So please, pictures pronto! Anyway, the one month mark is approaching. The last 8th is coming soon. Any idea what to blog about on that day (as promised)? :) Need my creative juice now.
